What are DuPont Centres of Excellence?
DuPont is on a mission to accelerate the development and testing of new technologies for electric vehicles and e-mobility applications. As a result, they have established their cutting-edge “Centres of Excellence”, to assess the reliability, performance, cost optimisation, and time-to-market using a range of processing, prototyping, and testing expertise.
These centres help in meeting the growing global demand for EV testing and development, driven by legislation for reduced emissions, increasing urbanisation, and customer demand. Overall, the Centres of Excellence make it possible for DuPont to continuously create groundbreaking adhesives, thermal management and lubrication solutions to lead the e-mobility evolution.
DuPont’s Centres of Excellence are equipped for:
- Processing raw materials into functional prototypes (moulding, extrusion, assembly)
- 3D printing and machining
- Electrical, safety, thermal and mechanical testing
- Tomography testing
- CAE/CAD
- Scale-up pilot plant capability
Existing Centres of Excellence
DuPont Centres of Excellence currently focus on 3 key areas to drive EV technology forward.
