DowDuPont had announced in February 2018 that its Speciality Products Division will be called DuPont when it becomes an independent, publicly traded company, which is expected by June 2019.
The new DuPont will deliver specialised customer solutions across four segments: Electronics & Imaging, Nutrition & Biosciences, Safety & Construction, and Transportation & Advanced Polymers.
As part of the changes, DuPont unveiled a fresh global brand identity and logo, that recognises its heritage and focus of being a customer-led innovation company and purpose-driven culture.
“Our new branding is one of many steps we are taking in DuPont’s transformation and amplifies what we do; help our customers solve complex problems and turn their best ideas into real-world products and solutions,” said Barbara Pandos, chief communications officer, Specialty Products Division of DowDuPont. “It preserves the legacy shape of the iconic DuPont Oval, which for more than a century has provided a seal of quality, performance and trust, but it will no longer be constrained by an elliptical border – signaling a collaborative and open flow of ideas and innovation.”
The new logo will feature on digital channels, packaging and signage following the launch of the new company.
DuPont are a global innovation leader and continue to discover and deliver value-added specialized solutions that foster sustainable progress and enrich people’s lives each day. Some of the best known brands include Kevlar ®, Tyvek ®, Sorona ®, Danisco ® and DuPont’s Great Stuff™ insulating foam sealant.
