Huntsman Advanced Materials will be exhibiting at JEC World 2019 from the 12th – 14th March. 

This year’s theme ‘Making a Material Difference through Chemistry’ will focus on the range of composites and polyurethane resins, adhesives and syntactics technologies for automotive, aerospace and industrial applications. From concept and design, through to maintenance and repair, Huntsman will be showcasing and demonstrating how their innovations meet current and future customer needs.

Visitors will have the opportunity to see the latest product launches including new adhesives and void fillers, alongside the ongoing leading industry advances in light weighting solutions.

Huntsman will be highlighting its expertise in high performance Araldite composites solutions for structural and non-structural automotive applications. On display, there will be finished structural parts from a global leading automotive OEM. These will include a full carbon composite wheel, composite leaf springs, a type 4 pressure vessel to a full composite door frame. Interior parts produced with the RIMLINE® HC+ polyurethane resin system and the Huntsman’s VITROX® family of polyurethane resins will also be on show.

Huntsman Advanced Materials will be sponsoring the Aerospace Planet, where they will be hosting a conference focusing on ‘Innovations and Trends In Aerospace’. The talk will take place on Wednesday 13th March from 9.00am.

In addition, Huntsman will be unveiling its latest advances in high performance adhesives with the launch of a new acrylate adhesive product range for extreme environments. Building on their portfolio, Araldite 2050 and Araldite 2051 speed up bonding operations in temperatures below zero and in saltwater and high humidity conditions.

Other innovative materials will include solutions from Huntsman’s recently acquired carbon-based, MIRALON®. MIRALON® sheets, yarns and pulps offer strength, ductility and electrical conductivity in the most demanding environments.
