Krytox™ Performance Lubricants

Krytox™ Perfluorinated oils and greases offer high performance over a wide temperature range and provide superior lubrication under extreme conditions due to their diverse composition. Krytox™ products are composed of fluorine, carbon and oxygen. These compounds are known as PFPE, perfluoroalkyl ether (PFAE) and perfluoropolyalkyl ether (PFPAE).

 

Krytox™ lubricants are regulated for general use, mil-spec grade and H1 NFS food grades.

KRYTOX™ Synthetic fluorinated oils and greases

Krytox™ Performance Lubricants developed the polymer known worldwide as Krytox™ in 1959. This synthetic polymer has remarkable thermal and oxidative stability. Initial applications were for the aircraft industry: for the MACH 3+ turbine engine, hydraulic oil, rocket gearbox lubricant and even gyro oil. Originally developed for the U.S. Space Program, Krytox™ Performance Lubricants is a family of synthetic fluorinated oils and PTFE thickened greases that work where conventional lubricants fail.
