Permabond 712’s adhesion to rubber is especially noteworthy, as many underwater adhesive applications, such as pipe seals, gaskets, and valve seating, are rubber-based. Alongside the product’s water-resisting properties, 712 exhibits resilience in other demanding environments. Its excellent thermal resistance allows it to retain an impressive 80% strength on mild steel after enduring 100 hours of 120℃ heat. 712 also handles humidity, maintaining 90% of its strength during 85/85 testing (85% relative humidity, 85℃). These efficiencies make Permabond 712 the ideal choice in applications where heat and moisture are a concern.

* Fixture times can be affected by temperature, humidity, and specific surfaces being bonded. Larger gaps or acidic surfaces will also reduce cure speed.
