• Phenolic vinyl base
• Suitable for use as a primer for metal, especially steel

Process

• It requires adequate pretreatment of the surfaces to be joined.
• Application by brush, spray or roller coating.
• When used for immersion application as a shoe or plate primer, the product must be diluted with industrial ethanol.
• Requires solventless drying followed by thermal cure.

Applications

• Used as a primer
• Serves as a friction lining adhesive

Storage

Araldite 70, formerly known as Redux 70, should be stored between 6 and 28ºC in original unopened containers. Storage at higher temperatures will reduce the shelf life of the product.
