Process

• Strength and durability requires adequate pre-treatment of the surfaces to be bonded.
• Cures at room temperature (used in combination with HV 953 U hardener).

Storage

Araldite AW 106 should be stored for 12 months at 15 – 25°C or 12 months at 8 – 25°C provided the component is stored in the original sealed container.

Precautions

Our products are generally easy and safe to handle, provided certain precautions are taken. For example, uncured materials should not be allowed to come into contact with food or food utensils, and measures should be taken to prevent uncured materials coming into contact with skin, as people with particularly sensitive skin may be affected. The use of impervious rubber or plastic gloves will be necessary. Eye protection, washing the skin after work, avoiding contact with solvents and ventilation of the work area are some key aspects.
