Permabond TA4207 is a two-part methacrylate adhesive with high shear and peel strength. 
This fast curing adhesive bonds well to metals, plastics, composites, ceramics and wood amongst other substrates including unprepared aluminium, with minimal surface preparation.
Permabond TA4207 has good chemical and environmental resistance making it ideal for marine applications. The adhesive can be applied with or without mixing nozzles.


  • Adhesion to a wide range of metals and plastics including materials such as PET-G and aluminium
  • Suitable for sign bonding, shopfitting, fascias, electronics, vehicle manufacturing, electroplated zinc fasteners, screws, nuts, switches, marine applications


  • Fast cure at room temperature
  • High shear and peel strength
  • Adhesion to a range of substrates
  • Good impact strength
  • Bonds well to unprepared aluminium
  • Good chemical and environmental resistance

Surface Preparation

  • Surfaces should be dry, clean and free from grease before applying the adhesive
  • Use Permabond IPA Wipes, Wipemaster Wipe 9 or  Permabond Cleaner A for degreasing surfaces.
  • Some metals (aluminium, copper and its alloys) can be lightly abraded to remove the oxide layer. You can read more about Surface Preparation here
