Merbenature is an ecological and environmentally friendly SMP sealant adhesive since it is formulated with renewable raw materials.

Features of Merbenature

• It is easy to use, elastic and moisture cures.
• It meets the application requirements of ISO 11600 F25-LM.

• It belongs to the class of silane-modified polymers made through the functionalisation of polymer chains with silane components and is known as SMP.
• SMPs combine the properties of two sealing systems: polyurethane and silicone. It is possible to obtain flexible formulations typical of polyurethanes, such as compatibility with paints and the high elasticity of silicones.
• Very low in emissions (complying with EMICODE EC1 + R ).
• It does not contain halogens, phthalate softeners, isocyanates, solvents or tin catalysts.
• It is the world’s first eco-friendly sealant that is “50-85% bio-based”.

Applications

• Compatible with plastically hardened paints, varnishes and mortars, the sealant can certainly be compared to traditional commercially available products.
