Tectyl Multipurpose Amber is a general purpose corrosion inhibitor in an aerosol.
Tectyl Multipurpose Amber is the new name for the Tectyl 506 aerosol spray can. 

This water-displacing compound provides corrosion protection for a variety of applications across the automotive, marine and general industries.

Tectyl Multipurpose Amber is fast drying and cures to a amber colour with a semi-firm translucent film. The product has excellent UV protection making it suitable for protecting parts that are stored outside and exposed to environmental factors.

The corrosion preventative compound is highly economical where Tectyl Multipurpose Amber has a dry film thickness of only 50 microns. A small amount sprayed can protect a large surface area.

Surface Preparation 

To achieve maximum performance, metal surfaces should be clean, dry and free from rust, oil and mill scale with a substrate temperature of 10-35 °C at the
time of the product application. As the adhesive is fast drying, it is recommended to spray one layer per pass, and after 2-3 minutes spray a second layer of the Tectyl Multipurpose Amber. Repeat the process until the required thickness of film is reached.
