• Unsurpassed base oil oxidation resistance: PFPE will not oxidise or stick with age and use. It does not decompose at the high temperatures experienced in electric motors. Operating temperature range of -44 to 200 °C (-47 to 392 °F).
• Advanced PTFE Thickener: Special high efficiency thickener that will not oxidise or break down under shear.

Krytox greases offer the potential for lifetime lubrication properties in demanding electric motor service. These products are non-oxidising, water resistant, non-flammable and chemically inert.

Krytox greases contain perfluoropolyether (PFPE) oil and a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) thickener. The PFPE oil and PTFE thickener will not oxidise or stick like ordinary synthetic or hydrocarbon based greases. Many major bearing manufacturers recommend Krytox greases for long life lubrication in severe applications. The superior film-forming ability of Krytox greases provides a thicker oil film and reduces wear. They are compatible with metals and most sealing materials, but require the removal of all old lubricants from the motor bearings prior to application.
