KRYTOX GPL 105

Krytox™ GPL 105 Performance Lubricant

Krytox™ GPL 105  is a perfluorinated lubricating oil that has a viscosity of 160 cSt at 40 ° C. Ideally formulated for application in Gaskets (O-rings), Shock Absorbers, Molding Injectors and Electrical Components, among others. The estimated useful temperature range is -36 ° C to 204 ° C.

Krytox™ GPL 105 Performance Lubricant

Krytox™ GPL 105 absence of hydrogen greatly increases the stability of the lubricant and makes it flammable. It will not burn or support combustion, even in a 100% liquid or gaseous oxygen environment. This characteristic makes the GPL 105 a popular option for many manufacturing, repair and maintenance teams who are looking to improve their lubrication processes and maintenance.

GPL 105 lubricating oil is not only oxygen resistant but also inert for virtually all chemicals used in a variety of industries. It is insoluble in most solvents, but it is soluble in highly fluorinated fluids and in some super-critical fluids, such as CO2.

Overall, the Krytox™ GPL series is for general purpose are intended to offer the market a range of products that utilise the ability of additives and varying viscosities; allowing manufacturing, maintenance and repair teams to improve the efficiency and cost management of their lubrication processes.
