Properties of Molykote A

• Dry lubrication up to 450°C

• Compatible with some types of natural rubber and plastic (compatibility test required before use)

Molykote A Applications

• For mounting, running-in and permanent lubrication of components subjected to high temperatures.
• Suitable for dry lubrication of bearings (low rotational speeds), slideways and joints subjected to temperatures above 200 ° C. At higher temperatures, the carrier volatilises practically without residue, and the remainder, the dry antifriction film assumes the only lubrication up to + 450 ° C.
• As the paste is synthetic oil-based, it is also suitable for lubricating construction elements consisting of materials that are not resistant to mineral oils.
• Successfully used for rolling and sliding of foundry ladles and converter bearings in steel working, conveyors and drive rollers of conveyor belts, in bearings of kilns and shuttle kilns, chains and chain conveyor rollers, for joints of presses of iron on, for O-rings that are not resistant to mineral oils, lip seals and rubber.
